Our Volunteers
The GSPCA works with Marryshow Community College and their Community Volunteer Program. Students must put in 30 hours of volunteer work in order to graduate. Many students choose to volunteer at the GSPCA.
We also have our summer Junior Volunteer Program where young volunteers spend a few hours each week socializing our puppies and kittens, walking and bathing dogs and learning about animal health care.

We have a Visitors Volunteer Program where while visiting Grenada either on holiday or by Yacht you can come up to the Shelter and help out in the kennels or fill many different needs at the Shelter from computer work, painting, organizing inventory or sharing other skills you may have to offer.

Many Medical and Veterinary Students from St. George's University volunteer at the GSPCA Shelter to get hands on experience.
When we have a Volunteer Vet on hand we need as many volunteers as we can get to help out in the field. A good way to see the island and meet local folks.

The more socializing our animals get from volunteers the faster they get adopted. Our kennel dogs and cats are very lucky to have such a wonderful group of volunteers come and walk them day after day!!! We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! Arf!
